Julie Boserup:

AKTUALIA

Newspaper, pencil and marker on paper, different sizes, 2012

AKTUALIA is a kind of picture-diary where Julie Boserup has been drawing directly on the pictures from newspapers during the summer.

When you take a newspaper apart and fold out the pages, random collisions occur between different pictures in the newspaper. Those graphical coincidences are the starting point of Julie Boserups further processings.

The work is situated in a sort of collective subconscious or visual memory.
