THE ART FESTIVAL SHANGRILA got the name from this road, Shangrila Lane. The festival took place at a property on this road. Works were exhibited in a house, in some containers and in the "backyard", which consisted of desert with dry bushes and the caracteristic Joshua tree.
It is situated by the town Joshua Tree a few hours from Los Angeles in California.
