             The Colour of Sparetime
            140 formalist holiday photographs
The Colour of Sparetime is a series of photographs
describing the holidays, the sparetime when you don't have to work.
An attempt to describe the time when you might be most free.

The working method is to take photos on
a holiday -on walks, boattrips, in a garden, in a summerhouse and
              so on.

It is formalist holiday photos, where a
boat, a fence and a field becomes pictures close to abstraction.

The Colour of Sparetime is inspired by Monets "recreative"
motifs like water lilys, the garden and a woman walking in a landscape.

Like the impressionists, I have emphasized the colour of the motif
              in stead of its narration.

The Colour of Sparetime shows a relaxed and recreative gaze, enjoying
the forms and colours found on its way.
